Pricing
We will bill based on the total time of your visit and there are three pricing levels depending on what services/procedures are provided at that time. Whatever we can accomplish during the time of your visit is included in the fee. Payment is due at the time of service. This fee schedule does not apply to cosmetic services. Prices will be updated periodically and will be posted on our website.
How much time will you need?
Our staff will help you to the best of their ability to decide how much time to schedule. There is a 15-minute minimum requirement for a new patient visit. You are considered a new patient if it has been over 3 years since your last visit in our office. Most established patient visits are from 10 – 15 minutes in duration. Increments of time are rounded up to the nearest 5 minutes. There is a 15-minute minimum for any full body skin examination. Surgical excisions typically require 40 – 60 minutes and a 40-minute appointment is the shortest time we can schedule for a surgery.
What is the difference between Level 1 and Level 2 or Level 3 pricing?
A basic office visit involving evaluation, examination, and/or prescription management is billed as a Level 1 visit; if freezing is done for a wart or an irritated keratosis (under 5 lesions), this is included in the fee. Level 2 or 3 visits are billed when any of the procedures listed under this category, noted on the table, are performed. If visits are complex and require multiple different procedures, then an extra fee may be applied. Treatment of numerous lesions that are cosmetic in nature are charged as a cosmetic service.
